Angles of pictures

These are pictures of a covered bridge just down the road from me. I was trying to think of an object large enough and each day I pass this bridge and I thought, well let's capture the look of one Vermont Covered Bridge. I have known that I wanted to photograph this bridge for about a week but whenever I could go out to it, it was raining. I was really hoping for a sunny day so I could capture the sun's rays coming in through the diamond windows, maybe for another project!

#1 So this is just your basic, looking down the bridge from the outside. 

#2 I thought it was cute to capture the old style sign about walking your horse.

#3 I think this is a little more interesting shot of the whole inside of the bridge. I like how you can see how the bridge is constructed.

 #4 I like how you can see the crossing of the wood to build this bridge. I love the repeating pattern and detail.

#5 This is the side I see each day. Just your typical shot of the outside. One thing I do like about this photo is that you can see the new wood on the left side. This bridge was damaged by the flooding of Irene and they had to reconstruct that part. I like the blend of the new and the old. 

#6 Just another shot of the front outside. 

 #7 Same aspect of a shot down the bridge but this time it has the new wood among the old.

#8 The outside as I see it when I drive down the road. I like how you can see the green of the trees and the river flowing under it. I was messing with my camera so it was taking burst shots so I'm not sure how to get it to stop showing the whole burst. That is why the water is actually moving in this shot. 

I think #4 is my favorite. I think I just really like the fading pattern as the photo goes deeper and the detail of the woodwork. It seems as though the eye can't help but move down into the bridge. I like how it is a different view of the typical covered bridge.

I like #8 as well but in my opinion it is a much more common perspective of the bridge. While it is a nice shot, there isn't anything overly captivating about it because I am use to seeing covered bridges. If I was wearing real shoes rather than flip flops, I would've have risked the low brush (and possible poison ivy) to get a view that should've captured the whole bridge. There is a little walk way thing that would've given a better view but I seized the moment before the rain hit again. I didn't edit any of these photos because I wasn't sure if you wanted us to edit yet or just capture how the angle alone can change a photo.
